A Tuscany wedding long waited

It happens to become friends with some of my couples. I am always committed to build a special relationship with any client that cross my path, and sometimes this elevates to a lot more than share happy moments together.

I first met Haley and Gareth on 27th February 2020, after they booked me a couple of months before for their wedding in May 2020 and for an engagement shooting in Florence during their tasting trip. At that time, no one of us could imagine how things turned up in just 10 days from that engagement.

On 8th March 2020, Italy closed everything.

And we waited for their wedding. For 2 long years and 4 dates postponed, a lot of bad things happened in the middle, but we stayed together focused on the goal: have finally the Wedding at Il Cerretino of their dreams.

About Villa Il Cerretino

The magnificent and antique Medici villa is set in a dominant position in the Montalbano hills, with a stunning and incredible view of Florence. Villa il Cerretino is the perfect setting for a tuscany wedding.

The villa has plenty of space both inside and outside, with the amazing large open terrace, the beautiful italian gardens and the magnificent intimate lower garden; inside there are large ballrooms and living areas perfectly decorated with Pop Art furniture.

Silvia, the manager of the venue, is an incredible professional (and I have the most pleasure and fun to work with her) and will take care of every guests, not only on the wedding day but for all the time of the stay, with extremely kindness and care.

Perfect planning for a moment of joy

So, the day finally came. The Tuscan Wedding of Haley and Gareth finally took place in the 7th June 2022 in the magnificent Villa il Cerretino.

Everyone of the staff was ready to make the day more perfect than ever: from Silvia of Magnolia Wedding Planner, that managed everything from the very start, including all the postponements, to the amazing Oste Gentiluomo catering with the unique tuscan taste for the food, to Silvia (yes, again XD) the manager of the villa, everyone was incredibly working together at their maximum to give Haley and Gareth the best day ever.

The flowers by Silvia Mattera Flower Design (yes, again, another Silvia working on this wedding, this was really fun to discover) were arranged with the delicate greenery tones: white roses and greenery fitted perfectly with the ancient building as background.

After the meaningful and touching ceremony, we had the most beautiful golden hour I could ask for: the couple photoshooting for this Tuscany Wedding at Il Cerretino turned out more perfect that I could imagine. I was so committed to do the best job for Haley and Gareth, and honestly, watch how the pictures turned out. The couple made their job, they were so perfect together and I could not forget Gareth’s eyes, the deep love in his eyes every time he looked at his bride.

After the couple shooting we gathered in the upper terrace for the Al Fresco dinner overlooking the landscape, with a long wooden table and the stunning lighting set up of the chandeliers by Wedding Music and Lights (the groom almost broke one of the delicate crystals by hitting it with the champagne!)  After the speeches and a lot of more emotional moments, we ended the day in the Limonaia with the dance party.

I really love how this Wedding at Il Cerretino turned out, showing you all my love with more pictures than I probably should publish, but really. Haley and Gareth are amazing, the Villa is amazing, everyone involved worked so well and in a so happy and positive environment that I couldn’t skip anything.

Thank you Haley and Gareth for choosing me, it was really a pleasure to cross your path and be with you on your wedding day <3

Thanks to the amazing staff involved
